Head To The Pointe For A Thrilling Weekend Of Mexican-Themed Parades, Classes, Art And More This Weekend

For those who are yet to make plans for the Halloween weekend, The Pointe at Palm Jumeirah is hosting a jam-packed line up of Dia de los Muertos festival fun, with a range of exciting prizes up for grabs.

Offering a three-day series of parades, games, competitions, dance, music, foodie experiences and more, The Pointe is the place to be from 31 October to 2 November.

The waterfront venue will also have stunning art installations, and a Mexico-themed market with art and Mexican snacks.

Dance and join a parade: 31 October and 1 November

From 5 pm, take centre stage and become part of an exciting Halloween dance, join in a drumming circle, or march along with a Mariachi band.

From 8.30 pm, guests can take part in an interactive Michael Jackson-style Thriller dance lesson and watch live entertainment by Ibby VK and DJ JMAXLolo.

Kids eat free at Palapa, The Pointe: 31 October and 1 November

The Pointe’s Mexican seafood and grill restaurant, Palapa, will offer live entertainment, a classical take on Mexican home-cooked dishes, and a free children’s lunch and dinner menu on Thursday and Friday.

Dubai-born musician Ramzinho will play chilled tunes into the early evening from 4.30 pm, ahead of the cinematic version of J. K. Rowling’s Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, which will be shown on The Pointe’s giant screen from 8 pm.
