ASICS is set to energise the city as the Official Presenting Partner of the Dubai Marathon 2026, marking the brand’s first year sponsoring one of the region’s most iconic road-running events.
As Official Presenting Partner, ASICS will deliver a runner-first race-day experience designed to support participants before, during and after they cross the finish line.
Taking place on 1 February 2026, the Dubai Marathon is expected to welcome more than 25,000 runners across three official race categories: the 4km Fun Run, 10km Road Race and the full 42km Marathon.
The 4km and 10km races will start on King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Street after Madinat Jumeirah, while the marathon will start on Al Taryam Road. All three races will finish at the Dubai Police Academy off Umm Suqeim Road, with access to all start points via the Dubai Police Academy main gate, creating a vibrant focal point for athletes, supporters and spectators alike.
Runners completing the marathon in ASICS footwear will receive an exclusive Dubai Marathon finisher patch, celebrating their achievement and connection to the brand. Participants will also be invited to enjoy complimentary medalengraving, while those registered on OneASICS will receive a personalised finisher video capturing the highlights of their race-day journey as a lasting digital keepsake.
At the heart of the activation will be the ASICS race-day booth, where runners and spectators will be able to purchase the latest ASICS footwear and apparel, with a special focus on the brand’s newest release, the GEL-NIMBUS™ 28, alongside the exclusive Run in Dubai Collectible Tee.
The booth will also feature a dedicated recovery and restoration station in partnership with Restore, as well as a try-and-test zone where participants can trial ASICS footwear on treadmills. Cadence will host a retail booth within the ASICS space, offering curated performance products to race-day participants.
Adding to the excitement on race day, ASICS will be represented by 13 sponsored elite athletes competing in the Dubai Marathon, including global stars Yuki Kawauchi, AsheteBekere, Jemal Yimer and Hailemaryam Kiros Kebedew. Their participation reinforces ASICS’ deep roots in elite performance and its long-standing commitment to supporting runners at the highest level.
