Dubai’s F/W21 Season Serves Up Great End Of Year Shopping And Activations For Fans Of Big-Name Brands And More!

The Fall/Winter season in Dubai is the ideal time for residents and visitors to stock up on great end of year gifts or splash out on must-have items ahead of the festive period.

Organised by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment and one of the key events in the annual Retail Calendar, the annual shopping period will see some of the city’s best loved retailers host great promotions and exclusive launches for new collections, the latest fashion looks and more with something to suit all tastes and budgets.

PROMOTIONS

  • Stylish, sophisticated and always on-trend, jewellery brand Vhernier will exclusively launch its new Palloncino collection this Fall/Winter season in Dubai. Featuring a range of colourful statement rings made from white gold, mother of pearl and rock crystal, the Palloncino collection is available at the Vhernier store in Fashion Avenue at The Dubai Mall.
  • The Galeries Lafayette department store in The Dubai Mall will launch its new Autumn / Winter 21 Collection as part of the Fall/Winter season in Dubai shopping event. Featuring pieces by some of the best fashion and homeware brands, the store is a must-visit for shoppers of all ages.
  • Shoppers headed to Bloomingdale’s in The Dubai Mall will be able to explore the latest designs and styles from their favourite brands. One of the city’s best-loved department stores, Bloomingdale’s will thrill customers during the Fall/Winter season in Dubai.
  • This year’s Fall/Winter season in Dubai will see American Rag Cie branches in The Dubai Mall and Mall of the Emirates host new collections as well as exclusive pieces available only in Dubai, including the Dom Rebel Dubai TEE and the LYPH Dubai T-shirt.
  • Angels stores at The Dubai Mall and the Atlantis The Palm hotel will each launch great collections for kids, as well as super styles that are both sustainable and charitable. As part of the Fall/Winter season in Dubai, Angels at Atlantis will exclusively launch the new kids wear collection from Italian luxury fashion brand FENDI. Angels stores at Atlantis and The Dubai Mall will both feature items from TheGivingMovement Kids Collection. A sustainable brand designed and manufactured in theUAE, it blends activewear with streetwear with a donation of AED15 made to partner charities for every item sold. All Angels stores will also stock the new Kenzo Kids line, featuring a mix of prints, cool colours and eye-catching styles youngsters and parents will love.

BRAND ACTIVATIONS

  • The world-renowned TimeVallée event will make its Middle East debut exclusively at City Centre Mirdif at a special concept store pop-up. Five luxury watchmakers, Baume & Mercier, IWC Schaffhausen, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Panerai and Piaget, will take visitors on an immersive journey of heritage and innovation. TimeVallée has been designed to offer guests a remarkable and personalised experience and runs until February.
  • Dubai Watch Week will return with a packed programme of events held under the theme of Connecting, Creating and Celebrating. Held from 24 to 28 November at The Gate, Dubai International Finance Centre, this year’s edition will tap into activations and programmes that intersect the world of luxury and horology with other key industries. Founded in 2015 by AhmedSeddiqi& Sons, Dubai Watch Week is a biennial event that provides an educational platform to share knowledge, build connections, and celebrate watchmaking. Dubai Watch Week is a key event on Dubai’s calendar.
  • Shoe brand Aquazurra has partnered with Level Shoes in The Dubai Mall for a special pop up event open to the public. Visitors can take part in a Meet and Greet event featuring a host of media stars and influencers as well as Aquazzura’s designer, Edgardo Osorio, who will present personalised images of his shoe designs, along with special messages for the guests on 27 October from 12pm to 4pm. The event will also introduce Aquazurra’s new capsule collection, which will be available instore and online.
  • To celebrate Expo 2020 Dubai, Level Shoes will host a series of unique artwork window installations highlighting key aspects of Dubai’s Street Style scene. The artworks, created by Rami Afifi, will also be printed on special tags attached to every Level Shoes bag given to shoppers.
  • Level Shoes will introduce the new Bottega Veneta collection with a special installation designed by the American artist Daniel Gordon exclusively for The Dubai Mall store. Created in Daniel’s signature style, each artwork is made out of inkjet prints on matte paper. The event runs until 2 November.
  • Christian Dior Couture and the Four Seasons Resort Jumeirah will host the Dior Riviera Pop-Up at the hotel’s Nammos beach venue. The Dior Riviera Cruise 22 collection captures the very best of the famous fashion house and will be on display from 24 October. Imported directly from Mykonos in Greece, the concept event will feature sustainably produced 3D printed pop ups made from locally-sourced clay.
  • City Centre Mirdif will host the five-day Style Station event, a unique pop up space featuring immersive and one of a kind fashion and beauty activations. Style Station will provide visitors with the opportunity to engage with brands, experience a series of in person masterclasses, participate in live virtual Q&A sessions and much more. Held from 26 to 30 October, it will also include an array of local, regional and international industry experts for talks focused on topics including: Future of Fashion; Future of Beauty/ SkinCare; Future of Fragrance; Watches; Future of Eyewear; Fitness & Wellness.
