<p>Residents are invited to explore the theme: Design a reusable bag that celebrates the UAE’s food culture, capturing the ingredients, traditions, and everyday moments that define how we shop, cook, and eat. Submissions are open from 21Mayuntil 30 June, and the winning entry will take home a grand prize of AED 10,000. Participants can submit their design in A4 size via direct message on Instagram (<a href="https://www.instagram.com/wfm.uae/">@wfm.uae</a>) or Facebook (<a href="https://www.facebook.com/wfmuae/">@wfmuae</a>), along with their name, age, and a short description of their inspiration.</p>
<p>A panel of judges will select the pieces that best capture UAE’s food culture, transforming them into premium, collectible canvas bags that people will want to keep and carry. To honour the creative voices of the city, each bag will include a permanent credit to the artist, making every piece a signature of the city.</p>
<p>The initiative will culminate in a reveal at Waterfront Market on 3<sup>rd </sup>July, to commemorate</p>
<p>‘International Plastic Bag Free Day’. Together, the collection stands as a tribute to the UAE’s rich food culture, creative spirit, and shared sense of community, carried forward through design reflecting the spirit of ‘Proud of UAE,’ expressed through design and carried forward by its people.</p>

<p>The event drew strong attendance throughout the day, with live DJs, interactive activations and a vibrant atmosphere that reflected Pacsun’s community-led spirit. <p>Designed to go beyond a traditional store launch, the concept offers are tail experience where customers can explore both brands under one roof, while each maintains its distinct identity and aesthetic, spanning Crate&amp;Barrel’s contemporary home collections and CB2’s more design-forward, modern pieces.</p>
<p>The opening also spotlighted local creativity through Majid Al Futtaim’s Ma’an initiative, with UAE-based small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) hosting live activations through the event. From candle-making to perfume customization workshops, the experience blends international retail with community-driven, hands-on engagement.</p>
<p>The launch debuted Crate &amp; Barrel and CB2’s Spring Summer collection, bringing together relaxed coastal inspiration, airy textures, and effortless modern design for the season ahead. <p>Among the brands available within the category are TRIBE, a leading UK-based sports nutrition brand currently available exclusively at Choithrams for a limited period, alongside Vitamin Well, Barebells, Organic Larder, and other popular wellness and functional nutrition brands. The selection has been curated to support a wide range of customer needs and lifestyle preferences, whether focused on fitness, nutrition, or making more mindful everyday choices.</p>
