Festival Plaza is inviting residents to Build your home, an all-new immersive home experience running from 16 October and running until 1 November as part of Dubai Home Festival (DHF) 2026. Bringing together beautifully styled spaces, expert-led talks, creative workshops and family-friendly activities, the activation promises plenty of inspiration for anyone looking to refresh their home.
Built around four pillars – Learn, Discover, Create and Play – Build your home goes beyond traditional home shopping, offering visitors the opportunity to explore practical ideas, discover participating retailers and enjoy hands-on experiences throughout the festival.
Organised by Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment (DFRE), Dubai Home Festival returns for its eighth edition, under the theme MAKE DUBAI HOME. Across 17 days, the festival brings together home retail, design, inspiration, experiences and rewards across the city, giving residents and visitors more ways to shop, discover and make the most of life at home in Dubai.
Step inside a world of home inspiration
From furniture and décor to everyday essentials, Build your home brings together products from Festival Plaza’s participating retailers, including ACE, PanHome and Danube Home, within a fully styled home environment. Visitors can explore creative ways to make the most of their spaces, whether furnishing a first apartment or giving their home a fresh new look.
Discover expert tips and creative experiences
Looking to give your space a refresh? Visitors can pick up practical advice through expert-led talks covering everything from small-space styling and lighting to colour choices and everyday home solutions.
For those looking to get creative, a programme of hands-on workshops and family-friendly activities will offer opportunities to learn new skills and enjoy memorable experiences together.
The Customisation Bar will offer tote bag and mini-item personalisation every day from 16 October to 1 November, from 5pm to 10pm. Visitors can personalise a tote with initials, stickers, patches or a home-inspired motif, with a customisation artist adding the finishing touches.
Across three weekends, visitors can create dried flower arrangements in soft, natural tones to take home from 16 to 18 October; personalise an apron with initials, cooking phrases or kitchen motifs from 23 to 25 October; and choose a scent, pour and decorate their own candle in a jar from 30 October to 1 November. Each workshop runs from 5pm to 10pm, with 50 places available each evening in groups of 10.
